Philip Nanton

Philip Nanton’s spoken word CD Island Voices from St Christopher & the Barracudas was launched in 2008. In 2014 the collection was published by Papillote Press of London and Trafalgar, Dominica. In 2012, Philip represented St. Vincent & the Grenadines at the Poetry Parnassus in London.  In recent years Philip has led poetry workshops for secondary teachers throughout the Anglophone Caribbean region from Jamaica to Guyana.  His writing was shortlisted for the 2014 Hollick/Arvon Prize at the Bocas Lit Festival in Trinidad. His new book Frontiers of the Caribbean will be published by Manchester University Press in 2017.
